She specialises in providing accounting and taxation services to taxpayers, including employees, investors and retirees and small business clients operating as sole traders, companies, trusts and partnerships. She also plays an integral part in the training and mentoring of our junior staff.
Antoinette Mosedale has been a Senior Accountant at Walshs Practice for the past 10 years. She has nearly 20 years experience advising small to medium sized businesses in a range of accounting and taxation matters. Antoinette has a particular interest in medical specialists and the various taxation and accounting issues that relate to them.
Antoinette is the holder of a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accountancy and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia).
Janine Lawson has over 35 years experience working in the accounting industry and has been at Walshs for over 20 years.
During her time at Walshs she has specialised in the area of self managed superannuation funds and now focus’s exclusively on SMSFs. Janine is responsible for the taxation, accounting and compliance requirements of SMSFs and helps clients with the administration of their funds.
Alix is an Chartered Accountant at Walshs Accounting & Taxation. Alix has been working for Walshs since January 2013 after earning her degree from Monash University.
Alix is passionate about taxation and enjoys working closely with clients to support them through their taxation and financial needs. She is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ).
Kelly provides accounting and taxation services for medical professionals. Kelly specialises in compliance and registrations for Doctors commencing in private practice.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and is working towards her Chartered Accountant qualifications.
Kate joined the Walshs team as a graduate accountant in 2014 after completing her Bachelor of Business majoring in Accountancy at Queensland University of Technology. Since then she has worked with a variety of clients specialising in assisting our medical graduates with their taxation needs.
Kate recently became a provisional member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
Dylan joined the Walshs team as a Graduate Accountant in 2016. With a focus on delivering tax and accounting services, Dylan is committed to providing an exceptional Walshs experience to clients.
Dylan holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree.
Johanna is our resident bookkeeper with over 30 years experience. She can help you with any XERO or MYOB setups/issues and continuing bookkeeping. She also completes BAS’s for many of our clients and has payroll experience.
Donna Sutherland JP (Qualified)
Operations and Compliance Manager Financial Planning
Donna holds a Diploma of Financial Markets, a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning, Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and recently completed courses with UNSW on Retirement Planning and Aged Care. With high attention to detail and an investigative mind, Donna works hard to gain an intimate understanding of the complete financial circumstances of our clients to help develop and implement better financial outcomes for them.
As our operations manager Donna also oversees the Financial Planning team. Outside of work Donna enjoys landscape photography and travel.
Kirby Jamieson manages the insurance department at Walshs Financial Planning where she is involved in providing tailored personal insurance advice for clients.
Kirby holds a Bachelor of Business Management and a Diploma of Financial Planning and is an authorised Risk Adviser.
Client Services – Insurance
Josie Holland is part of the Walshs insurance team and works closely with the Financial Planners to ensure all insurance advice is implemented and client queries are answered in a timely and efficient manner.
Josie has been working in the Financial Planning industry since 2010 and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning
Salary Packaging Manager
Rachael joined the Walshs Financial Planning team in 2014 bringing with her 10 years administration management and banking experience.
Rachael manages the Salary Packaging needs for Walshs clients and oversees the daily administration tasks for the financial planning team. Rachael also co-ordinates Walshs sponsorship of the QLD Health Intern Orientation program each year, visiting new intern doctors around South East Queensland during O-Week with our Financial Advisers.
